This is the amazing, moving and true story of Nicholas Winton, a young London stock broker (Johnny Flynn) who visits Prague in 1939 during the Nazi occupation.
He realises war is imminent, and what this will mean for Jews, and against incredible odds he sets about organising the rescue of over 600 Jewish children and getting them to safety in England.
50 years later the elderly Winton (Anthony Hopkins) is haunted by the fate of the children he was not able to rescue, and the grief and guilt he still feels.
