A middle-aged couple, Moth and Raynor Winn (Gillian Anderson and Jason Isaacs) invest their life savings in a friend’s business and when it goes bust they lose everything, including their home.
At the same time Moth is diagnosed with a neurodegenerative condition that affects his mobility and memory.
Unable to get any kind of help with housing they make the decision to buy a small tent and a couple of cheap sleeping bags and walk the 600 miles of the South West Coastal Path.
As they walked Raynor kept a diary, which became a memoir and a best-selling book.
