The Heron Literature Festival

Building upon the success of last year’s Local Authors Evening we are delighted to offer a varied programme of events celebrating the written word.
There will be events for all ages. Come along and listen to writers talk about their books on Friday evening.
Join a workshop on Saturday where you can develop your own writing or acting skills. There will be opportunities to listen to authors throughout the day and plenty of time to browse at the bookshop.
The festival will finish on Saturday evening with a performance of ‘Pride and Prejudice’ by the talented team at Hotbuckle.
You may recall the dazzling version of ‘Sense and Sensibility’ last April which was very well received.
