Expect “initial touches of baroque fusing with modern day folk” (FATEA) as The Finn Collinson Band returns to the stage in 2025.
Joined by two of English folk’s most in-demand musicians, Evan Carson (Bodhran, Percussion) and Archie Churchill-Moss (Guitar, Accordion), Finn combines a fundamentally folk approach with elements of early music to sculpt a distinctive and pioneering sound.
Traditional dance tunes meet historical melodies, shaken up in striking new arrangements and brought up to date with Finn’s compositions and trademark recorder style. Together they create a captivating and wonderfully varied live show, with a respectful eye on the past but a firm grounding in the present.
