As children, best friends Pietro and Bruno spent many idyllic summers together up in the French Alps, but their friendship was ruined through the interference of their parents.
When they meet again as adults they return to the mountains and decide to build a simple stone hut that becomes a place of reflection and reconciliation.
Through the building of the hut their relationship and their love for each other is also rebuilt.
It is a rich and beautiful film about friendship between men who cannot talk about their feelings.
