American saxophonist / clarinetist, Frank Griffith, and his quartet will present a programme of popular standards with “Spring” in their titles.
To mark the arrival of the season on the same weekend, one can expect renditions of classics like It Might As Well Be Spring, Spring Is Here and They Say Its Spring, amongst lesser known gems celebrating the season.
The quartet will include pianist, Richard Wetherall, Ed Harrison on bass and drummer, Eryl Roberts. All top-feted players from the Liverpool / Manchester area.
Based in Liverpool, Frank spends lots of time in Beetham and plays regularly at Zefferellis in Ambleside.
