‘The American’
The Autumn Quartet came together as a result of their shared passion and desire to explore and perform some of the most significant and outstanding works written for the genre.
Pamela Redman, Helen Tonge, Fay Sweet and Stephen Threlfall combine their wide musical experience to present a programme of three landmark works written for the string quartet.
Locally based – or with regional connections they are especially pleased to be able to perform in some of the smaller venues in the Cumbria region and so promoting classical music making ‘at close quarters’.
