From Page To Stage
A workshop led by the actors from Hotbuckle’s ‘Pride and Prejudice’.
In this actor’s workshop, we will look at bringing the text to life and developing characters. Using passages directly from the book, we will explore how it can be adapted to the stage.

Hotbuckle
Hotbuckle are a professional theatre company based in Shropshire. They produce new writing and original work, but are best known for their adaptions of traditional, classic works of literature.
Their distinctive style is of lightning fast costume changes and humour, but above all the strive to make whatever story they tell as human as possible. They are able to unlock novels that might seem almost impenetrable and free them for an audience to enjoy.
